At AbFab we appear to be lucky enough, that as one big project ends, another one seems to come along. As we finished up in Old Town (the subject of our last blog), two brothers in Tiddington approached us to do a complete refit of their new home. They were after a boutique hotel feel, with bespoke cabinetry and custom furniture to fit the large, open plan spaces.

It was important to them to understand what the finished spaces would look like but were struggling to visualise this. It was therefore necessary for us to provide mood boards to give them a clear picture as to how the spaces would work. These boards also proved invaluable when explaining to the various trades people what we were trying to achieve in each space. Everyone was on the same page, which helped enormously!

The work begins and we are excited to see the finished results. Check back on our website in a couple of months and we will reveal the finished project!

Exciting news too from Little Greene Paint!  Their Autumn/Winter paint range comes out in September, and with it 26 new colours are being launched.  Both easy-to-scheme neutrals and fun, cheerful colours have been added to the Little Greene offering.  It seems impossible to us that more colours can be created, but with ever changing colour preferences, tastes and trends, and the way in which colour is now used within our homes, it has indeed been made possible!  New colours include a ”playful pink”, a “characterful, muted orange” and a “versatile everywhere white”.

Here at AbFab, we can’t wait to see these new colours and very much look forward to incorporating them in our future schemes!
