The AbFab team have been out and about, checking out the new season styles and trends.  At the beginning of February, we headed to the NEC in Birmingham for this year’s Spring Fair.  It’s important for us as designers to look at furniture and accessories ahead of ordering them for clients, to check their comfort, quality and design.  It is also an opportunity for us to catch up with our suppliers and meet new ones.

The colours were soft neutrals with plenty of texture and interest.  Lots of lamps caught our eye, something we particularly like to display in the showroom, not only adding light, but to also draw our client’s attention to different areas of the shop.  We shall certainly be displaying some new pieces soon!

The bedroom furniture was also very appealing to us.  Super cosy and some stunning headboards were spotted.  Reupholstering or changing the shape of your headboard is a quick and relatively inexpensive change you can make in your bedroom.  Not only is it a speedy and efficient change but also gives dramatic results if executed well.
