The interior scheme we all fell in love with…

February is well and truly a month dedicated to love, here at Ab Fab we have worked on some absolutely stunning homes, but one in particular took our breath away, a country conversion in Mickleton, full of history with an industrial twist.

We have worked closely with our client to bring out the best in their space, starting with the heart of the home, the kitchen. This space has been designed with clean modern lines created by the white marble work top that sits perfectly alongside the smart navy blue kitchen cabinets. The kitchen hints to the history of the house with the element of exposed Cotswold stone which is on display at the top of the walls, elevating your eyes upward making the room taller and grander, adding to that industrial New York apartment style that is so in, yet so timeless.

The oak flooring perfectly complements the exposed oak beams which add lots of warmth to the room, the oak flooring runs through the whole of the ground floor, making the kitchen run smoothy into the snug situated at the end of the room, this space has been designed with an industrial twist in mind, a modern black log burner with a grand exposed flu catches your eye and creates a cosy intimate corner in what is an open plan living space, it really is the perfect place to snuggle up with a nice cup of tea.

We will share more on this labour of love in the following few months, but for now have a wonderful February, we will see you in March.
